UMLUJ: Equestrianism is one of the long-standing hobbies that is increasingly appealing to the youth of the Umluj Governorate in the Tabuk Region. The governorate’s distinctive terrain, including dunes scattered around wildlife parks, has helped young people to practice this sport.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Ibrahim Humaid Al-Faidi, a prominent owner of horse stables, talked to a SPA reporter about the people’s love for this Arab sport, pointing out that equestrianism is not just a recreational activity, but is part of the Saudi heritage that many people are keen to learn about.

Al-Faidi noted that horse stables in Umluj are witnessing remarkable growth, and that the number of horse breeders and trainees is constantly increasing as well, reflecting the growing interest in this hobby people in the governorate show.
