First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, praised the role of the indigenous Iraqi clans in preserving the values, culture and heritage of Iraq, while ensuring that a number of critical humanitarian cases were sent for treatment outside the country.

Al-Mandalawi’s office said in a statement: “The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, met, during a field tour he conducted today in Dhi Qar Governorate, with a number of tribal sheikhs in Nasiriyah (Sheikh Al-Badoor, Sheikh Al-Azerj, and Sheikh Fadl Al-Abadi), in the presence of MP Dawood Al-Aidan.”

Al-Mandalawi praised “the role of the authentic Iraqi clans in preserving the values, culture and heritage of Iraq, and their defense of its soil and sanctities during the previous years, as well as their response to dangerous and extraneous threats to society, and their cooperation with the security services to support stability throughout the country,” appreciating their efforts in reviving the Husseini cause and serving visitors coming to perform the Arbaeen visit.

He listened to the most important problems that the governorate is going through, from the scarcity of water, the development of infrastructure services in it, and the increase in electricity supply hours, as well as the service and community needs and the necessary and urgent treatments for them.

Al-Mandalawi ensured that “a number of critical humanitarian cases will be sent for treatment outside the country,” calling for “accelerating the completion of service projects to advance the reality of the governorate and provide job opportunities for its people.”/ End
