Riyadh: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the continued launching of UAVs by Iran-backed militias in Iraq targeting oil facilities in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry reaffirmed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's determination to safeguard its security and sovereignty and its legitimate right under international law to take all necessary measures to respond to the sources of aggression and deter those responsible. It also reiterated the need for the Iraqi government to take all necessary measures to prevent its territory from being used as a launchpad for aggression.
