The Saudi International Aviation Technical College celebrated the graduation of 1,354 students specializing in aircraft maintenance engineering, with Minister of Education Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan and several leaders from the aviation and education sectors in attendance. During the ceremony, the CEO of Colleges of Excellence, Eng. Ayman Al Abdullah, explained that the localization rate of aviation training had reached 70%, reflecting efforts to enhance national capabilities in aviation. He added that the college receives strong support from military and civilian government agencies, as well as the private sector, leading to enhanced training and excellent job prospects for graduates. Established in Riyadh in 2014, the International Technical College for Aviation Sciences has graduated over 7,400 students to date, with a 90% employment rate within a year of graduation. The college holds both domestic and international accreditations, including recognition from the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviati on (GACA) as an aircraft maintenance training school, accreditation from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) as an aircraft maintenance school, and acknowledgment as a training center by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
