Riyadh: GCC Secretary General Jasem Albudaiwi expressed his strong condemnation and denunciation of the attacks launched by the Israeli occupation forces on several sites in Syria. He stressed that these ongoing assaults represent a blatant violation of international agreements and laws and pose a threat to the security and stability of the region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Albudaiwi reiterated the contents of the statement issued during the 46th extraordinary ministerial meeting, which condemned the repeated Israeli attacks on Syria, including the occupation of the demilitarized zone along the Syrian border, in clear violation of Syria's sovereignty and the 1974 disengagement agreement. Secretary General Albudaiwi stressed the need for the Israeli occupation forces to withdraw from all occupied Syrian territories and to respect all relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
