Riyadh: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi expressed his congratulations and blessings to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the significant success witnessed during this year's Hajj season, 1446 AH.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Albudaiwi highlighted that the success of this year's Hajj reflects the efforts and capabilities that the Saudi government has devoted to serving the pilgrims. He noted the facilitation of rituals with ease, safety, and security, praising the infrastructure, organization, and use of modern technological means, including artificial intelligence applications, alongside qualified national human resources.
Albudaiwi stated that these elements have contributed to providing a distinguished Hajj experience this year, enhancing the Kingdom's leadership role in serving Islam and Muslims. He also expressed pride and appreciation for the efforts made by the Kingdom annually to develop the Hajj system, demonstrating the care and attention dedicated to serving pilgrims and worshippers.
He concluded by praying for continued security and stability for the Kingdom, success and guidance for its leadership, and safe returns for the pilgrims to their homelands.
