Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Jasem Albudaiwi engaged in discussions with Mohsen Mahbash, the Charg© d'Affaires at the Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Kingdom, at the General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting focused on ongoing efforts to support Syria across various levels, aiming to enhance development and prosperity for the Syrian populace.

The Secretary-General emphasized the importance of honoring Syria's sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity. He highlighted that the security and stability of Syria are crucial to the broader regional stability. Albudaiwi also conveyed hopes for sustained security, stability, and further advancement for Syria and its citizens.
