Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi received Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Chang Hua in Riyadh today. During the meeting, they reviewed the latest developments regarding the proposed Second GCC-China Summit, scheduled to be held in Beijing in 2026.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions also focused on cooperation between the two sides in areas of mutual interest. Both parties explored ways to enhance the strategic dialogue and the proposed memoranda of understanding for cooperation between the GCC and China.
