Riyadh: Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi has welcomed Friday's meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska. Albudaiwi praised the positive atmosphere of the summit, emphasizing that it demonstrated how cooperation, constructive dialogue, and peaceful solutions remain the most effective means to resolve global disputes.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Albudaiwi reaffirmed the GCC's longstanding commitment to supporting peaceful dialogue in addressing regional and international issues. He endorsed all international efforts aimed at resolving the Russian-Ukrainian crisis to enhance global peace and security.
