Madinah: In line with the Ministry of Interior's efforts to combat narcotics and curtail smuggling activities threatening the Kingdom's security and youth, the General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC), in collaboration with its Iraqi counterpart, seized 142 kilograms of methamphetamine (shabu) in Madinah Region. The drugs were concealed inside an international passenger bus, resulting in the arrest of two Iraqi expatriates in connection with the operation.
According to Saudi Press Agency, security authorities call on the public to report any information concerning drug smuggling or selling by calling 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions and 999 in the rest of the Kingdom's regions.
