Kuala lumpur: The General Authority for Competition participated in the Competition Summit 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, joining leading experts, officials, and policymakers from around the world. CEO of the authority Dr. Fahad Alshathri took part in a main panel session, highlighting the Kingdom's initiatives in the field and the authority's collaboration with the Ministry of Finance to develop regulatory policies that ensure fair and transparent competition.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Alshathri emphasized the importance of establishing an integrated system of policies and regulatory tools that keep pace with economic developments, strengthen the business environment, and enhance the efficiency of government spending.

This participation reinforces the authority's efforts to strengthen the Kingdom's presence in specialized international forums, share expertise with counterpart organizations, and help shape global trends in competition.
