Global CSR Forum 2026 Explores Sustainability and Social Responsibility

Riyadh:The sessions of the second edition of the Global CSR Forum 2026 focused on various topics related to developing social responsibility practices and enhancing their contribution to sustainable development, with participation from officials and experts both from Saudi Arabia and abroad.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the forum emphasized the need to move beyond traditional social responsibility initiatives towards more integrated and sustainable institutional practices, highlighting the importance of making commitments measurable with clear outcomes and impacts.

Discussions at the forum included the role of governance and data in improving institutional work and service efficiency, especially with the increasing reliance on artificial intelligence technologies. The sessions showcased experiences enhancing social impact, including SAR170 billion in financing over 54 years, benefiting approximately 10 million citizens.

The forum covered areas such as social protection, support for self-sufficiency, self-employment, home-based businesses, and financing for small and medium-sized enterprises and startups. The social dimension and quality of life were also discussed, alongside the role of sports initiatives in community service and the importance of measuring their impact and sustainability.

Additional discussions included preserving natural and water resources and strengthening partnerships among the government, private, and nonprofit sectors. The forum also addressed ways to identify community needs, improve program efficiency, and achieve sustainable social and developmental impact.
