Jeddah: Gusty winds and blowing dust are expected to persist across several regions in Saudi Arabia, including Makkah, Madinah, Hail, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, and Eastern areas. Thunderclouds accompanied by gusty winds may also develop over parts of the western and southwestern highlands.
According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea will vary from northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 20-45 km/h in the northern and central regions, while in the southern part, they will shift from northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 10-28 km/h. The sea conditions are predicted to be slight to moderate, with waves ranging from half a meter to two meters.
In the Arabian Gulf, the wind pattern will also vary, with northwesterly to northerly winds at speeds of 15-38 km/h in the northern and central regions. In the southern part, winds will transition from southerly to southeasterly in the morning to westerly to northwesterly after noon, maintaining speeds of 10-25 km/h. Sea conditions here are also expected to range from slight to moderate, with waves between half a meter and one and a half meters.
