Gusty Winds and Rain Expected in Parts of Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has forecasted gusty winds with potential rain and hail in the regions of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah on Tuesday. The weather conditions are expected to vary across the country, with a rise in temperatures anticipated in parts of the Eastern and Riyadh regions.

The forecast also includes details about wind patterns over major water bodies. Winds over the Red Sea are predicted to be northwesterly to westerly at speeds ranging from 15 to 40 km/h in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to northeasterly at speeds of 10 to 50 km/h in the southern part. Sea conditions are expected to vary, with waves ranging from half a meter to over two meters, indicating a calm to choppy sea state.

Meanwhile, the Arabian Gulf will experience northwesterly to westerly winds at 15 to 38 km/h in the northern part, and northeasterly to southeasterly winds at 10 to 28 km/h in the central and southern regions. Waves in the Arabian Gulf may reach heights from half a meter to one and a half meters, suggesting relatively calm sea conditions.
