Gusty Winds and Rain Expected in Several Regions of Saudi Arabia


Jeddah: Gusty winds are expected to blow and rain may fall across the regions of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah.



According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has forecasted dust-stirring winds in the regions of Madinah, Hail, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, and Northern Borders.



Fog formation is anticipated during the early morning hours in the Eastern Region. The wind patterns over the Red Sea will vary, with northwesterly to northerly winds blowing at speeds of 10-25 km/h in the northern and central parts. In the southern part, winds will transition to southeasterly to southwesterly at 15-45 km/h. Wave heights will range from half a meter to two meters, resulting in a sea that will be calm to choppy.



In the Arabian Gulf, westerly to northwesterly winds are expected in the northern part, while the southern part will experience northeasterly to northwesterly winds at speeds of 10-25 km/h. Waves in this area are forecasted to reach from half a meter to one meter, and the sea will be relatively calm.
