New York:President of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, met with Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Jubeir conveyed greetings from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to President Ali, along with their wishes for the progress and prosperity of Guyana. President Ali expressed his appreciation and extended his greetings to the Saudi leaders.

The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation to serve the common interests of Guyana and Saudi Arabia. They also discussed various issues of mutual interest.

Director General of the Office of the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Khalid bin Musaid Al-Anqari, was also present at the meeting.
