Hajj/Adha Rituals Reach Record-Breaking 27,000 Pilgrims Per Hour

Makkah: The Saudi Project for Utilizing Sacrificial Animals (Adahi) has achieved a significant operational milestone by performing over 27,000 rituals in the first hour of Eid al-Adha, marking the highest performance since the project's inception. This figure surpasses last year's average hourly performance of 18,000 rituals during the Hajj season.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this accomplishment is part of an integrated operational model overseen by the Royal Commission for Makkah City and the Holy Sites. The Commission manages the project through the Adahi system, employing specialized operational teams to ensure seamless integration of central planning and field implementation.

The model emphasizes proactiveness, institutional integration, and digital transformation. Seven operational complexes, covering over one million square meters, have been prepared to accommodate more than 1.1 million rituals during Eid. The scheduling considers religious, health, and environmental aspects.

The project's digital system, enhanced with artificial intelligence technologies, ensures Sharia compliance and improves response speed during peak operations. It monitors ritual stages, enhancing performance efficiency during critical periods.

Strategic partnerships have expanded the project's benefits through year-round conversion facilities and slaughterhouses. Local and international distribution channels, including platforms like Ihsan and Saudi Post, along with accredited humanitarian organizations in over 30 countries, further extend its reach.

This year's Hajj season marks a pivotal moment for the "Adahi" project, as the operational transformation begins to show clear effects in implementation efficiency and service expansion. The system's ability to tackle operational challenges during the Hajj season is evident, achieving the intended social and economic impact.
