Makkah: The General Supervisor of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Project for Utilization of Sacrificial Animals (Adahi), Saad Al-Wabil, announced that the project is operating through an integrated system designed to ensure smooth procedures and quick implementation, meeting the needs of pilgrims and facilitating their rituals.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the project successfully carried out 287,067 sacrifices on the Day of Sacrifice, while selling more than 811,486 heads at a rate of 379 heads per minute. This efficiency underscores the significant efforts by the entities involved in the project to improve services for pilgrims and ensure the quality and safety of sacrifices at all stages. Furthermore, 19,931 sacrifices were distributed to those entitled to them, aligning with the humanitarian and social objectives of this ritual.
The project is set to continue during the days of Tashreeq in collaboration with relevant authorities to ensure sacrifices are completed within the designated times and distributed to those entitled. This effort aims to uphold the principle of social solidarity and ensure that distributions are made effectively.
