Healthcare Services Provided to Over 6,000 Patients at Zaatari Camp in August

Riyadh:Zaatari Camp The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) clinics at Zaatari Camp for Syrian refugees in Jordan delivered healthcare services to 6,320 patients in August 2026.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the general medicine clinics attended to 1,847 patients, while the internal medicine clinic treated 718 individuals suffering from diabetes, hypertension, and asthma. Pediatric clinics provided care for 799 children, and the dental clinic served 376 patients.

The women's clinic catered to 523 patients, and the ear, nose, and throat clinic treated 215 patients experiencing sinus, throat, tonsil, and middle-ear infections. The ophthalmology clinic saw 233 patients, the cardiology clinic 57, the diagnostic radiology clinic 152, the dermatology clinic 217, and the rehabilitation medicine clinic 109.

Additionally, the clinics performed 10,151 laboratory tests and conducted 1,064 X-ray and ultrasound examinations. The vaccination clinic administered 554 vaccines, while the physiotherapy department delivered 520 physical therapy sessions.
