Islamabad: The municipality of Historic Linah in the Northern Borders Region organized a celebration marking Founding Day at the heritage market, drawing strong attendance from residents and broad community participation that reflected pride in national identity and deep-rooted Saudi heritage.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the heritage market was transformed into a vibrant venue for traditional shows and activities, including a horse parade, an archaeological museum open to visitors, informational sections on history and handicrafts, a photography section, a telescope experience for stargazing, and dedicated spaces for families working in the cottage industry. The program also featured gift distributions and street decorations in celebration of the national occasion.
The municipality explained that organizing these events is part of its efforts to enhance awareness of the Kingdom's history and to instill values of belonging among all segments of society by offering cultural and interactive programs that highlight the Kingdom's historical depth and celebrate its journey of development.
