Mina: The Holy Capital Municipality has intensified its field and municipal efforts in Mina as part of its operational plan for the 1446 AH Hajj season, aiming to ensure the provision of optimal services to pilgrims during the days of sacrifice and Tashreeq.
According to Saudi Press Agency, preparations included strengthening field work teams across the Municipality's 22 service centers in Mina, which are strategically distributed to cover the entire holy site. These centers are responsible for tasks such as health monitoring, environmental sanitation, public hygiene, and the oversight of markets and stalls, as well as monitoring unauthorized activities and negative phenomena.
The Municipality has allocated additional advanced equipment and machinery, including robotic sweepers and waste extractors, to intensify cleaning operations and promptly remove waste, especially around the Jamarat facility and the passageways leading to it. This is to ensure a healthy and safe environment for the Guests of God.
Inspection teams are increasing their patrols during the Eid days to address negative phenomena, particularly targeting unauthorized barbers and street vendors whose activities may impact public safety. Specialized observers have been deployed around the Jamarat and in densely populated areas.
The Secretariat has employed more than 2,000 health and temporary observers, carefully positioned at critical points within the holy site, especially near slaughterhouses and abattoirs. Additionally, 2,500 Secretariat employees are working within an integrated operational system around the clock to ensure the highest levels of supervision and field service.
These efforts reflect the Holy Capital Municipality's commitment to utilizing all its human and technical resources to accommodate the scale of the event and the significance of the ritual, ensuring the comfort and safety of the Guests of God and facilitating a smooth and secure Hajj experience.
