Honey Activities Conclude at Suhail Nights Festival in Northern Borders Region

Riyadh: The honey activities, part of the Suhail Nights Festival in Northern Borders Region, concluded yesterday, drawing strong attendance and enthusiastic participation from visitors.

According to Saudi Press Agency, participants showcased a wide variety of honey products sourced from 256 locations across the region, including two nature reserves. This highlights the region's rich plant biodiversity, which includes over 179 honey-producing plant species, contributing to the sustainability and high quality of local honey production.

Northern Borders Region is one of the Kingdom's leading natural pastures for beekeeping. Ongoing afforestation efforts and vegetation development projects have further enhanced pasture availability and provided crucial support to local beekeepers, reinforcing the region's role in promoting sustainable apiculture.
