HRH Crown Prince and Sudan Transitional Council Chairman Discuss Sudan’s Security and Stability

Jeddah: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today in Jeddah with Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Chairman of Sudan's Transitional Sovereignty Council, and his accompanying delegation. The meeting focused on the latest developments in Sudan and the implications of these events, as well as ongoing efforts to address them. Both leaders underscored the significance of maintaining Sudan's security, stability, sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting was attended by notable figures including Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdulla. Other attendees included Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs Prince Musab bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Farhan, Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet, and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban, President of the General Intelligence Presidency Khalid bin Ali Al-Humaidan, and Saudi Ambassador to Sudan Ali Hassan Jaafar. From the Sudanese side, the meeting saw the presence of Sudanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ambassador Mohieldin Ibrahim and several other Sudanese officials.
