HRH the Crown Prince and Indian Prime Minister Co-Chair Strategic Partnership Council in Jeddah

Jeddah: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received Republic of India Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Royal Court at Al-Salam Palace. An official reception was held for the Indian prime minister, followed by an official discussion session between the two leaders.

According to Saudi Press Agency, HRH the Crown Prince welcomed Modi to the Kingdom, who in turn expressed his pleasure in visiting and meeting with HRH the Crown Prince. The session involved reviewing bilateral relations and discussing ways to strengthen and develop them. Both leaders also addressed regional and international developments, efforts for security and stability, and exchanged views on mutual interests.

Subsequently, HRH the Crown Prince and the Indian prime minister co-chaired the Saudi-Indian Strategic Partnership Council. Topics on the council's agenda were discussed with the presence of its members. At the conclusion, they signed the minutes of the council meeting.

Following the council meeting, HRH the Crown Prince held another meeting with the Indian prime minister. The reception witnessed the attendance of several Saudi ministers and officials, including Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah. From the Indian side, Minister of External Affairs Dr. S. Jaishankar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval were present, along with other senior officials.
