Al-baha: Al-Baha Municipality's Humanizing Cities projects have added a qualitative dimension to the urban landscape and enhanced quality of life through the development of parks, pedestrian walkways, and green spaces, becoming among the region's leading tourist and recreational destinations that draw residents and visitors during the Al-Baha Summer 2026 season amid its picturesque scenery and mild climate.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the region has seen the establishment of 143 parks and public gardens covering a total area of more than four million square meters. These spaces provide natural recreational areas for families and visitors, creating ideal environments for leisure and relaxation amidst the region's renowned vegetation cover.
The municipality has also completed 45 walkways extending over 104,000 linear meters. These walkways are equipped with seating, shaded areas, modern lighting, upgraded pavements, and various aesthetic features, providing a safe and well-equipped environment for walking and encouraging healthier lifestyles.
Additionally, the municipality has capitalized on the region's natural assets by developing walking trails and creating scenic viewpoints overlooking mountains, forests, and valleys.
