Riyadh: The Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve Development Authority held a meeting with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) to discuss avenues for cooperation and strategic partnership in environmental protection and the sustainability of ecosystems.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the two sides discussed several areas of cooperation, most notably empowering the local community through specialized initiatives and workshops on honey production and the sustainable use of natural resources. These initiatives aim to help support livelihoods and strengthen community participation in environmental conservation.

The meeting comes as part of the authority's efforts to strengthen partnerships with international organizations and exchange expertise and best practices. This collaboration is expected to contribute to the protection and sustainability of ecosystems and the achievement of Saudi Vision 2030 goals.
