Imam Turki Reserve to Showcase Sustainable Hunting at 2025 Katara Exhibition

Doha: The Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Nature Reserve Development Authority has confirmed its participation in the upcoming ninth edition of the Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition, known as S'hail 2025. The event, scheduled to take place in Doha from September 10 to 14, will highlight the authority's commitment to sustainable hunting practices and its significant role in international falconry and natural heritage discussions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the reserve will feature a special pavilion dedicated to the North Reserve for Sustainable Hunting, marking its debut as the first of its kind in the Kingdom. Covering an area of 2,000 square kilometers, this reserve is designed to regulate hunting activities through stringent environmental controls to maintain ecological balance and renew the human-nature connection.

The pavilion aims to provide visitors with an engaging experience through interactive displays that showcase sustainable hunting techniques involving falcons, Salukis, and firearms. Additionally, it will include shooting ranges for fixed targets and clay discs, integrating traditional practices with modern innovations while strictly adhering to safety and environmental protection standards.
