IMCTC Secretary General Engages with Iraqi Defense Minister on Anti-Terrorism Efforts.

Riyadh: Secretary General of the Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) Major General Pilot Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi received Iraqi Minister of Defense Thabet Muhammad Al-Abasi, who was accompanied by several military officials, today at the IMCTC headquarters. During the meeting, a presentation was given on the progress and achievements of the IMCTC in combating terrorism across various domains, including intellectual, media, financial, and military aspects. The presentation focused on efforts to coordinate and enhance international collaboration among member states. Al-Moghedi commended Iraq's ongoing efforts in its fight against terrorism and extremism. According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Moghedi stressed that the IMCTC is fully committed to supporting member states affected by terrorism. He noted that Iraq's membership in the IMCTC, alongside 42 allied nations, benefits both Iraq and the coalition by facilitating the exchange of international expertise and unifying and intensifying eff orts in the fight against terrorism.
