Mecca: The Sharia Committee of the General Secretariat of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visitation is conducting continuous awareness programs at the prayer halls of Holy Sites camps during this year's Hajj. These programs involve dozens of preachers and translators accredited by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, reflecting the Kingdom's dedication to promoting moderation and guiding devotees according to the principles outlined in the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet.
According to Saudi Press Agency, preachers from the Sharia Committee are stationed at the program's guests' camps in Mina, where they provide instruction on performing rituals aligned with the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Prophet. The initiative aims to ensure pilgrims remain calm and comfortable, which is essential for completing the Hajj rituals, demonstrating correct faith, and emphasizing the simplicity and advantages of Islamic practices. This effort also seeks to foster a sense of Islamic brotherhood, aligning with the Kingdom's mission of promoting a moderate approach.
Additionally, translators are collaborating with the Sharia Committee in the guest camps to facilitate a conducive environment in the camp prayer rooms. They ensure that pilgrims receive accurate translations of the sermons and fatwas, and they work closely with preachers to address the queries of non-Arabic-speaking pilgrims, clarifying the concepts related to their rituals.
