Riyadh:The Royal Institute of Traditional Arts (Wrth) is engaging visitors at the International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2026 with interactive workshops that highlight traditional Saudi arts. Taking place at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, the exhibition will continue until October 10.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the workshops provide hands-on experiences in traditional crafts. From October 1 to 5, participants focused on creating falcon hood medals, while from October 6 to 10, the emphasis shifts to making prayer beads. These sessions allow participants to learn about the tools and techniques involved in these crafts before creating their own items.
Wrth's involvement in the exhibition underscores its dedication to participating in events that appeal to enthusiasts of Saudi heritage and traditional crafts. This initiative promotes active engagement with traditional arts, making them more accessible to the public.
Since its establishment in 2021, Wrth has operated as a specialized cultural institution dedicated to training national talent interested in traditional arts. Its strategy aims to empower and support the traditional crafts sector, contributing to the preservation and sustainability of the Kingdom's cultural heritage.
