Interior Minister Chairs 33rd Annual Meeting of Regional Governors

Riyadh: Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz chaired the 33rd annual meeting of the Governors of Regions, held via videoconference. At the outset of the meeting, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He reaffirmed the leadership's directives to preserve security and to facilitate and ease all matters for citizens, residents, and visitors across the Kingdom.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Interior Minister and the regional governors praised the Saudi leadership's prudent directives to reinforce security and stability amid ongoing regional developments. They emphasized mobilizing all available resources to ensure the safety of everyone in the Kingdom and providing support to stranded Gulf nationals from GCC member states at airports both within and beyond the Kingdom.

During the meeting, participants reviewed a range of topics aimed at reinforcing security and stability and advancing development efforts. They also examined reports and working papers designed to enhance quality of life in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the attendees reached a number of recommendations in preparation for submitting them to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.
