Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, received on Wednesday the United States Ambassador to Kingdom of Bahrain Steven C. Bondy.

Present were Chief of Public Security Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hasan Al Hasan and Ministry of Interior Undersecretary Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa.

The minister welcomed the Ambassador, praising the distinguished relations and strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States, which supports the interests of the two friendly countries.

Bilateral security cooperation programmes between the two countries and topics that develop joint work were discussed.
