Interior Ministry Issues Administrative Decisions Against 25 Violators of Hajj Regulations

Makkah: The Ministry of Interior announced that Hajj security forces at the entrances to Makkah apprehended 11 expatriates and 14 citizens for violating Hajj regulations and instructions by transporting 94 violators without Hajj permits.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry issued administrative decisions through seasonal administrative committees against the transporters, contributors, and transported individuals. These decisions included prison sentences and fines of up to SAR100,000, defamation of transporters, deportation of expatriates, and banning them from entering the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for 10 years after serving their sentence. The ministry also called for the confiscation of vehicles used in the violations and stated that anyone attempting to perform Hajj without a permit may face a fine of up to SAR20,000.

The Ministry of Interior urged all citizens and residents to adhere to and comply with Hajj regulations and instructions to ensure pilgrims' safety and security during the performance of their rituals.
