Najran: International scholarship students at Najran University are experiencing a deep spiritual connection during Ramadan in an atmosphere of warmth and Saudi hospitality that reflects unity and brotherhood.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the students praised the university for fostering a supportive, family-like environment throughout the year, and especially during Ramadan. They said that observing Islamic rituals and sharing communal iftars has strengthened their sense of belonging and inner peace. Many described the Kingdom as their 'second home,' where differences in language and culture fade as they gather at one table.
They also expressed how welcome they feel, noting that homesickness disappears amid the kindness and strong human connections they experience daily.
Najran University hosts around 2,100 international scholarship students from 70 countries at the undergraduate and graduate levels across diverse disciplines, reflecting the role of Saudi universities in strengthening the Kingdom's global academic presence and building bridges of knowledge and cultural exchange.
The university also organizes annual Hajj and Umrah trips, as well as educational visits to the Kingdom's landmarks, enriching students' experiences and deepening their connection to local culture.
