Baghdad, Iraq recorded 8,084 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVId-19) in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections to 1,855,781.

In a statement, the Iraqi Ministry of Health reported 70 new deaths, bringing the death tally to 20,480, as well as 8,728 new recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,695,241.
