Bangkok:President of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, Muhammad Al Jasser, held a meeting with Mohammed Safwat Abdul Hamid Raslan, Governor of the Central Bank of Syria, on the sidelines of the 2026 Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group in Bangkok, Thailand.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions focused on enhancing cooperation and expanding the partnership between the IsDB Group and the Syrian Arab Republic. The leaders exchanged views on mutual interests and explored potential new areas of cooperation aimed at supporting development, recovery efforts, and strengthening economic stability.
