Islamic Affairs Minister Launches New Programs for Umrah Season in Madinah

Madinah: Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Abdullatif Al Alsheikh launched in Madinah the ministry's work plans for the 1447 AH awareness and guidance programs and the current Umrah season.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry's awareness programs plan features over 80,000 guidance activities across 13 main programs, four training courses, two forums, and five intellectual programs. These will be implemented in mosques and Islamic centers throughout Madinah Region's governorates.

More than four million people, including both residents and visitors from inside and outside Saudi Arabia, are expected to benefit from the ministry's programs, reflecting the ministry's dedication to broadening its reach and promoting a message of moderation, balance, and authentic Islamic values.

The ministry's Umrah season plan includes a range of advocacy and guidance services. Key initiatives include sermons, academic lessons, lectures, and the use of Islamic awareness booths. The plan will also utilize translators and activate e-books in mosques to provide comprehensive support for Umrah performers.
