Islamic Affairs Ministry Completes Imam Qualification Course in Thailand

Riyadh: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance concluded today the course for qualifying imams, khateebs, and preachers in Bangkok. The four-day event saw the participation of more than 50 individuals dedicated to religious leadership roles.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the course addressed numerous Sharia topics, emphasizing the principles of moderation and balance, while cautioning against extremism and religious innovations. This initiative aimed to reinforce the correct creed and improve the dawah skills of participants.

The course is a component of the ministry's broader efforts conducted outside the Kingdom. It seeks to promote authentic Islamic knowledge, uphold the values of moderation and tolerance, and strengthen ties with Muslim communities on a global scale.
