Islamic Affairs Ministry Concludes Religious Course in Maldives

Mal©: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has concluded its three-day course on the true principles of Islam in Mal©, the capital of the Maldives. Attended by several officials, Islamic figures, preachers, imams, and university students, the course focused on reinforcing correct Islamic beliefs to promote the values of moderation and tolerance, and combat extremism and radicalism.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the course aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of Islamic teachings that emphasize peace and coexistence. Participants engaged in discussions and workshops designed to address misconceptions about Islam and to foster an environment of dialogue and understanding among diverse groups.

The event was part of a broader initiative by the Ministry to support educational activities that enhance religious knowledge and understanding.
