Addis ababa: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by the Religious Attach© at the Kingdom's Embassy in New Delhi, has delivered a significant gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Maldives. This gift, consisting of dates, was handed over during a ceremony at the Islamic Center in Mal©.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Kingdom has allocated 15 tons of dates for the Maldives, benefiting over 60,000 people. This initiative is part of the efforts to promote solidarity and compassion, as well as to strengthen ties with Muslim communities, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs is implementing the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' dates distribution program in over 120 countries. The program involves the distribution of more than 1,000 tons of dates globally, reflecting the Kingdom's commitment to fostering goodwill and support among Muslim communities worldwide.
