Nouakchott: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance held a farewell ceremony for pilgrims participating in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program for Hajj for the year 1446 AH. The event took place at the headquarters of the Saudi embassy in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, in the presence of Saudi Ambassador to Mauritania Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Raqabi, along with several officials and distinguished guests.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the ambassador expressed appreciation to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their generous care and dedicated attention to pilgrims from around the world, including those from Mauritania selected for this year's program.
At the ceremony's conclusion, Al-Raqabi presented this year's chosen pilgrims with a pilgrim's bag, provided by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, as part of the program's services. This bag contains everything a pilgrim needs before traveling to the holy land to perform the Hajj and Umrah rituals.
