Islamic Affairs Ministry Launches Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Programs for Iftar and Date Distribution in Jordan


Amman: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance launched the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ programs for providing iftar to fasting individuals and distributing dates in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in the presence of Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan.



According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative is part of the ministry’s programs implemented abroad during Ramadan this year. A total of 15 tons of premium dates are allocated for distribution, benefiting approximately 20,000 recipients.



The iftar program targets more than 5,000 fasting individuals from various eligible groups, affirming the Kingdom’s humanitarian message in supporting its brothers, promoting Islamic solidarity, and spreading the values of moderation and balance.



The attending Jordanian officials praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s efforts in serving Islam and Muslims, and for promoting solidarity and brotherhood among Islamic nations with its specialized programs.
