Islamic Affairs Ministry Organizes Seventh Training Course for Imams and Preachers in Dakar

Riyadh: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by the Religious Attach© at the Saudi Embassy in Senegal, yesterday launched the seventh training course for imams and preachers in Dakar, Senegal. The course, which spans over five days, takes place at a center dedicated to Quran and Sunnah outreach and includes the participation of 120 imams and preachers from Dakar and various other regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the training course focuses on enhancing the participants' understanding of Islamic rulings, with an emphasis on applying these principles to contemporary issues. Furthermore, it aims to promote moderation in the issuance of religious rulings. This initiative is a component of the ministry's broader scholarly efforts undertaken beyond the Kingdom's borders. It underscores the ministry's commitment to disseminating authentic Islamic knowledge, equipping imams and preachers with necessary qualifications, and advocating for the principles of moderation in countries worldwide.
