Riyadh:Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received a phone call from Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Italian foreign minister condemned the Houthi attacks targeting areas in Saudi Arabia, expressing solidarity with the Kingdom and support for its security measures.

During the conversation, Tajani thanked Saudi authorities for their efforts in ensuring the safety of residents in the country, including Italian nationals. The discussion also covered regional and international developments, with a focus on ensuring safe maritime navigation through the Strait of Hormuz and the Bab al-Mandeb Strait to support international trade and maintain regional stability.
