Jazan: The Jazan Region Municipality is boosting its efforts to support sports and community movement in the region through implementing and preparing 208 sports fields and 214 walkways distributed across Jizan City and the region's governorates, within its initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of life and expanding sports and recreational facilities, in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 objectives to build a vibrant society whose members enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the municipality's work included developing and rehabilitating fields and walkways according to modern standards, including improving safety elements, providing lighting, planting green spaces, and allocating sites for walking, running, and cycling activities, in a way that enhances the efficiency of sports facilities and gives them an urban and aesthetic dimension reflecting the level of developmental progress witnessed by the region.

These efforts fall within the framework of integration among government entities to enhance sports infrastructure and create motivating urban environments that increase rates of sports participation and physical activity among community members.
