Jeddah: Governor of Jeddah Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi received Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission (IPHRC) Executive Director Dr. Hadi bin Ali Al-Yami in his office today. During this engagement, discussions centered on the commission's role in safeguarding and advancing human rights in line with international standards across various sectors.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the governor was informed about the commission's ongoing efforts to heighten awareness of human rights and bolster the principles of human dignity, justice, and equality within the Islamic world. The meeting underscored the importance of these initiatives in promoting universal human rights values.

Dr. Al-Yami conveyed the commission's appreciation to the Kingdom for its pivotal role in establishing the IPHRC headquarters in Jeddah. He acknowledged the Kingdom's support in providing essential facilities to facilitate the commission's operations effectively.
