Jeddah: The Saudi Red Crescent Authority branch in Jeddah Governorate launched a series of awareness and training programs to celebrate World First Aid Day. The initiatives included a package of community-focused events.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the events included awareness booths set up in several public locations, where visitors learned about the importance of first aid and were encouraged to develop such vital skills. Attendees also received educational giveaways to reinforce the key skills.

The authority launched the 'Learn a Skill' initiative through its volunteers, giving the public hands-on training in basic first aid - a life-saving skill. The program ensured that participants could practice correctly using interactive learning tools. It also organized the 'Rescue in a Minute Challenge,' designed to boost readiness and test how quickly people can respond to emergencies.
