Justice Minister and Thai Counterpart Sign MOU to Enhance Judicial Cooperation

Bangkok: Minister of Justice Walid Al-Samaani met with his Thai counterpart Rutthaphon Naowarat during an official visit to Thailand, aimed at strengthening judicial cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Thailand.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the two sides discussed ways to advance judicial cooperation and exchange expertise in areas related to legislation and judicial systems, with a view to enhancing the efficiency of justice in both countries. Al-Samaani reviewed key developments in Saudi Arabia's justice sector, supported by the Saudi leadership, particularly in specialized legislation and the development of judicial services.

The meeting also highlighted several ongoing advancements within the justice ecosystem, including the activation of preventive justice and the expansion of training programs at the Saudi Judicial Training Center to strengthen the legal and professional capabilities of judicial personnel.

Moreover, the two ministers signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at enhancing cooperation in legal and judicial fields through the exchange of expertise and information, collaboration on developing judicial systems and work practices, and the advancement of professional skills in support of deeper collaboration between the two countries.
