Cairo: Secretary-General of the King Abdulaziz Center for Cultural Communication (KACCC) Dr. Abdullah Al-Fouzan presented a paper on KACCC's role in promoting the values of tolerance, dialogue, and coexistence and combating hate speech at the second conference on combating discrimination against Islam and Muslims, held at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo on August 3-4.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the conference addressed the role of Muslim communities in the West in confronting Islamophobia, bringing together participants to discuss efforts to combat discrimination and promote dialogue.

In his paper, Al-Fouzan highlighted the Saudi experience in establishing an institutional framework that promotes moderation, tolerance, and coexistence while helping protect societies from extremism and hate. He also reviewed KACCC's development since its establishment and its strategic transformation in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

The presentation also outlined the center's participation in international conferences and forums dedicated to combating racial discrimination and promoting human rights, as well as its partnerships with academic institutions and international organizations. Al-Fouzan said these collaborations facilitate the exchange of expertise and showcase the Saudi experience in intercultural dialogue at the regional and international levels.

Al-Fouzan concluded that KACCC represents a pioneering institutional model that integrates dialogue, scientific research, training, and impact assessment, contributing to the promotion of shared human values and strengthening mutual understanding among peoples and cultures.
