KFSHRC Madinah Awarded Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Medal for Social Responsibility.

Madinah: Under the patronage of the Governor of the Madinah Region, Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSHRC) in Madinah has been honoured with the 2023 Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Social Responsibility Award in the medical sector category, a KFSHRC press release informed. According to Saudi Press Agency, this recognition reflects the hospital's contributions to advanced healthcare services to the community of Madinah and its surrounding areas since it began operations in late 2021 and its ongoing efforts to provide the highest levels of healthcare and the best patient experience. The award was received by the Acting General Manager of KFSHRC Madinah, Dr. Emad Khadawardi, during the Excellence Awards Ceremony held at Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz University in Madinah, in recognition of his contributions to supporting social responsibility and advancing medical services in the region, in the presence of several dignitaries and officials. KFSHRC Madin ah has a capacity of 400 beds and offers specialized services in pediatric and adult oncology, ophthalmology, and obstetrics and gynaecology. The hospital has also received 14 accreditations for training in various medical and nursing specialities. "KFSHRC has been ranked first in the Middle East and Africa and 20th globally in the list of the world's top 250 Academic Medical Centers for the second consecutive year and recognized as the most valuable healthcare brand in the Kingdom and the Middle East, according to the 2024 Brand Finance rankings. Additionally, it was included in the World's Best Smart Hospitals list for 2025 by Newsweek magazine," the release read.
